Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

PhauksWorks respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the PhauksCalc application handles information.

Information stored on your device

PhauksCalc stores application data locally on your device so the app can remember your work and preferences. This may include calculator content and history, application and calculator settings, custom keyboard settings and layouts, support/reminder preferences, diagnostic information, and locally cached information used to remember the app's most recently known Google Play Pro entitlement.

PhauksWorks does not operate an account system for PhauksCalc, and ordinary calculator documents, calculations, history, and settings are not automatically uploaded to PhauksWorks.

Google Play purchases

PhauksCalc offers an optional one-time PhauksCalc Pro purchase through Google Play. Purchase processing is provided by Google Play and is subject to Google's own privacy practices and terms. PhauksCalc receives information needed to determine purchase status and provide the purchased entitlement. PhauksWorks does not receive or store your full payment-card information through PhauksCalc.

Bug reports and feature requests

PhauksCalc can help you prepare a bug report or feature request addressed to PhauksWorks. This feature opens an email composition flow so you can review the message before choosing whether to send it.

A report may contain information you enter and diagnostic information you choose to include. Depending on your selections, this can include a reply email address, your description, app and device information, calculator settings, current calculator text, and recent diagnostic log information. Information is sent to PhauksWorks only if you choose to send the email.

Email delivery is handled by your selected email application and email providers. Information sent in a support email is used to respond to the request, investigate problems, and improve PhauksCalc.

Advertising and tracking

PhauksCalc does not contain advertising. PhauksWorks does not use PhauksCalc to sell your personal information or calculator content to advertisers, and PhauksCalc does not include a PhauksWorks-operated analytics or advertising tracking service.

Sharing with service providers

PhauksCalc uses Google Play services for purchase functionality. Information involved in a Google Play purchase may therefore be processed by Google as necessary to provide that service. If you voluntarily send a bug report or feature request, the information in that email is also processed by the email services used to send and receive it.

Children

PhauksCalc is a general-purpose calculator application and is not specifically directed to children. PhauksWorks does not knowingly operate a PhauksCalc account or profile system for collecting children's personal information.

Security and your choices

Most PhauksCalc application data remains on your device under the protections provided by Android and your device. You control whether to send a bug report or feature request and can review the email before sending it.

Data deletion requests

If you have sent PhauksWorks a bug report, feature request, support email, or other information and would like that information deleted, you may request deletion by contacting PhauksWorks@gmail.com. Please provide enough information to identify the correspondence or data you want deleted. PhauksWorks will delete information it controls that can reasonably be identified from your request, except where retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate purposes.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when PhauksCalc's features or data practices change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date when appropriate.
